The Role

We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Obstetric Sonographer to join our team in Liverpool on a part-time basis. Working within an experienced and reputable brand, you will perform a range of non-diagnostic and diagnostic prenatal scans, ensuring that every family receives a premium, reassuring, and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a variety of prenatal scans including early pregnancy reassurance, dating, gender confirmation, and late-pregnancy 3D/4D bonding scans.
  • Produce high-quality ultrasound images, prints, and video recordings for clients.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential client records and coordinate appropriate clinical referrals if unexpected findings occur.
  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience, guiding and reassuring families through every step of their visit.
  • Uphold strict health, hygiene, and infection control standards throughout the clinical rooms.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Registration: Current professional registration with the HCPC, NMC, GMC, or BMUS.
  • Qualification: CASE-accredited postgraduate certificate, diploma, or equivalent in medical ultrasound (DMU, PgDip).
  • Experience: Post-qualification scanning experience within the UK (NHS or private sector).
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a friendly, patient-focused approach.
  • Attitude: A calm, empathetic demeanor capable of sharing special moments with families while maintaining professional clinical boundaries.
